Joy Full Days Group Care Ltd warmly welcomes you! Our Retford Day Centre is a place
of connection, stimulation and support for older adults and neuro-divergent individuals.
Our surroundings are safe, nurturing and inclusive, based on Nottinghamshire’s vision
for “day opportunities” that promote independence and community engagement
Our Day Centre operations are centred around The Hub Building, Retford:
The Friendly Café Area (“The Hub Café”): a welcoming space for drop‐ins,
conversation, beverages, light refreshments, informal chats, and
inter‐generational social sessions (e.g. share‐a‐skill, memory café).
The Main Hall (Activity Centre): where structured group activity sessions take place
place—crafts, gentle exercise, reminiscence, sensory experiences, music,
workshops and themed events.
We support Nottinghamshire’s goal of building inclusive, community-based
day opportunities that reinforce independence and connection.
We are committed to providing specialist support for those living with
dementia, autism, learning disabilities or other neuro-diversity, including
tailored sensory environments and activity options.
We help combat loneliness, support mental wellbeing, and connect
individuals to local resources and information via referrals to Connect/Age UK
